Walking around the island is good exercise and you can see a lot of cute animals, accompanied by an educational description which is very informative. The lion’s roar is very loud, there are tigers and other large cats, even an indoor tropical section if you...More

I was amazed by the zoo. This is a whole island for God's sake! Animals look really comfortable there. I was feeling that I came not to see animals but to see the zoo itself. It really amazed me how they designed the whole thing....More

We did not see much of the big animals. However, since it was mating season many of the smaller animals were quite active. We saw male birds in the bird house dancing for the females, while they pretended they did not even see the males....More

We took a boat to the zoo which was fun. When we got to the zoo, there were not many animals for us to see. They may have been sleeping. However, I still expected more. Also, the zoo itself wasn’t very clean in many places....More

The zoo is on an island which you can access by either boat or bus. Easy to get too. We arrived on the first ferry of the morning so the zoo was quite quiet to begin. Range of animals to see who are kept in...More

We had a great day. The place is beautiful and was not crowded, so just walking around was enjoyable. Some of the animals were out of sight but we saw enough to make us all, adults and children, excited and satisfied.

There is a sensible debate to be had about the role of Zoos but this is great one with well thought out enclosures. My granddaughter loved the owls, the Mongolian horses and the big cats. The zoo specializes in Amur leopards and has had some...More
