Visited the arctic borealis show, the main exhibition with features of Lapland life, history, and animals and last an exhibition for kids explaining all phenomena and life in arctic circle. Very interesting, easy accessible, with a restaurant and a cafe in the museum.

I like Finland and I like history so this place was the perfect place to spend my time. I purposely traveled from savitaipale to see this museum and I loved it.

We really enjoyed our time here. The displays were well organized and offered great information. Some interesting displays also!! (I won't give the secret away). Also the gift shop is a good one! Definitely worth 13€ to spend a few hours here.

The exhibits here are great and a fair amount of stuff is translated into English, but not all of it and if you don't speak Finnish you will miss stuff (which is totally fair enough, it is in Finland after all!)
