I would not rate it as one of the Stockholm highlights (it pales compared to the Milles Garden), and the experience will greatly vary with the theme of the exhibitions. I am not a great fan of Peter Dahl, the current exhibition at the time,...More

This had a large collection of Peter Dahl’s artwork when I visited which was interesting to see as I had not heard of him before entering the museum; some of the artwork could be seen as provocative but it was definitely a change of pace...More

This gallery is located in a very pleasant residential neighbourhood in Stockholm. Do yourself a favour and walk there from your starting point. There is a lovely park behind the gallery. It is not a huge space. Maybe three floors of exhibition space. There is...More

I'm afraid we found our visit to Sven-Harry's House very disappointing. The roof terrace is OK but nothing special and not being able to visit the house-on-the-roof as tours were all in Swedish was a disappointment (though having peered through the windows we were maybe...More

Nice building situated in the centre of Stockholm. We came to see the exhibit of designed gowns personally made for important events. Many gowns worn by the Swedish royal family and other celebrities for the Nobel Prize awarding ceremonies thru the years. Few gowns exhibited...More

Followed phone SatNav directions to find ourselves in a picturesque snowy park (children tobogganing & iceskating) & were met by the most amazing gold structure that is Sven-Harrys Gallery. Teenage daughters were bowled over by the 'Secrets of Couture' exhibition, us parents loved the space,...More

Housed in a modern building, Sven-Harry's Konstmusum contains a replica of Sven Harry Karlsson's former home and his private art collection. Karlsson made his money in construction and built the building to house the collection. The building also has a rooftop terrace with several sculptures....More

Sven-Harry Karlsson is a somewhat eccentric art collector from the southwest of Sweden who made good money in the construction industry. His father, also a successful builder, was also an art aficionado. This museum was built by Sven-Harry's construction firm to house his "secret" art...More

This museum is beautiful inside and out. The architecture is something special. The Museums exhibiton during my visit was very impressive. The exhibition rooms are light and serves the works well.

We've lived near this lovely museum for many years without realizing what a gem it is. The musuem was built to display the collection of Sven-Harry. On the roof, as the crowning glory, is a replica of Sven-Harry’s former home, the 18th century manor Ekholmsnäs....More

Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost
looks too good to be true. It has the winning
combination of a central location, tranquility, and
beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and
eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s
most sought-after place to live. If walking through
this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy
tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s
