This museum was free when I went. It's attached to the libirary so I was confused on whether this was a children's museum. The museum is to the right when you walk in and you can enter the showrooms through either of the staircases. Spent...More

Some good exhibitions I've seen there, not so usual for a city of Jönköping, one of my favorite places to spend time.

This smallish museum has two main attractions: 1. The permanent, excellent exhibition on local fantasy painter John Bauer, who produced most of his work in and around Jönköping some 100yrs ago. His original paintings are displayed in a dark room, emulating a deep Småland forest...More

Good place overall, especially if you plan to visit Stadsbiblioteket, there are always some exhibitions worth seeing. There's also an interesting part on the other side, which is The Archive.

This is a small art gallery. It's nice, with three or four exhibition halls (rooms). I guess the experience depends a lot on what exhibitions are in place at the moment. When we visited there was a lot of focus on local painter John Bauer....More
