Very touching memorial of all the ships and lives lost in the Battle of Jutland. I'd say it doesn't warrant a trip to Thyborøn in itself, but if you're here and strolling the beach you should make sure to visit.

We visited the site this summer and what a summer but I guess we can't credit the site for the excellent weather, however it worked for us.

A small family had the pleasure to visit this place and the place taught us about the war and the people involved in it. Our 6 year old son was intrigued in the history and waking the interest of a 6 year old is an achievement. So well done

The guys who established this museum and located so many of the wrecks have really put their hearts into this place. It is a real scandal that the British and German governments haven't done more to commemorate the battle at the site on land closest to where so many young men lost their lives. Once all the crosses are in place - one for each life lost on each ship, this place will be even more inspiring and important. Thanks to everyone who has made it what it is.

This site commemorates the almost 9000 British and German sailors that lost their lives during the "Battle of Jutland" in 1916. It is done among other with stones symbolizing the 25 warships that were sunk.

A very special place has been created in the sand dunes to remember all that lost their lives at the Battle of Jutland. The way the park has been laid out re-creating where each ship sank and remembering those that died on them and those that also lost their life on ships that found their way home again. We visited on a cold but bright November day and found the memorial park moving and emotional. Thank you to those that have created it and tend to it.

Was dry when we set off from car park.....very thought provoking and will be more so if we understood correctly that eventually there will be sculptures to represent all lives lost. Visit cut short by horizontal rain shower 😣💦

Located right next to the Sea War Museum, shows the WWI Battle of Jutland from a very tangible perspective. Worth a visit.

This is a beautiful and fitting tribute to the lives lost in the Battle of Jutland. Opened in 2016, on the 100th anniversary of the battle, this is a very special place and a must-see for visitors to the local area.

This is a memorial of the battle of Jytland in 1916 with granite slabs for each of the 25 ships that sunk in the battle. Germans and British. The park is at the point where the North Sea and Limfjorgen meets.Very impressive.
