On a sunny morning this area was lovely for a walk. The Merman statue and large fish sculpture are great.

If visiting, explore the port, there is a free museum. Take the time to walk the streets and see the shops and wonky houses down the lanes. A beautiful place on a sunny day. Found an amazing deli/ cheese shop at the top of the...More

I loved this harbour. Its really big, and you can walk around the boats, and to the view point. There is also a beach on the other side of the harbour wall. Nearby there is a street food restaurant.

When you visit the castle in Helsingor be sure to walk the town and visit the shops. These are nice happy people with good food and pleasant surroundings.

While the other half was at the conference, I went for a casual walk to see the town. So picturesque, restaurants and bars scattered all over.

There appeared to be a lot of ferry traffic around the harbour, not sure where they were going. Google ferries from ------ to ------ and you will get lots of info, good luck.

Yes, it's a very straightforward journey and Helsingor is the end of the line so you can't miss it. Try to pick up a timetable for the return journey in Copenhagen as Helsingor station isn't very user-friendly.
