While the other half was at the conference, I went for a casual walk to see the town. So picturesque, restaurants and bars scattered all over.

Helsingor Harbor or known also the Dockland of Helsingor is a great place to explore. There are plenty of things to see particularly if one is interested into culture and art. On the water front you will see the The Culture Yard (Kulturevaerftet) building which...More

In tve winter not much is going on here. However I can totally recommend a walk (or run) in this area, along the water front. It’s relaxing and sometimes very windy :) The walk will take you from the station to the castle and back...More

The vibrantly colored houses and cobblestone streets take you back into a time when life was much simpler. It also provides a chance for some excellent photo op's. The half day trip to Helsingor Havn and the Castle are a great take.

It's a lovely place to take a stroll with a beautiful view. I visited in February, so there were hardly any people. Might get crowded in summer.

The brooding atmosphere is magical, as is the sense of history permeating every nook and cranny of this glorious structure. The Swedes may have sacked it, but they couldn't strip it of its character.

There appeared to be a lot of ferry traffic around the harbour, not sure where they were going. Google ferries from ------ to ------ and you will get lots of info, good luck.

Yes, it's a very straightforward journey and Helsingor is the end of the line so you can't miss it. Try to pick up a timetable for the return journey in Copenhagen as Helsingor station isn't very user-friendly.
