Good atmosphère, food and beverages to spend the late afternoon or even breakfast. Thé Brioche Doree trench bakery is open at 08.00 am. Croissants and danish to die for and at a decent price. Wonderfull sandwiches and food pies as well.

Torvehallerne is a wonderful place to have lunch with friends when everyone has different tastes in food. The pizza place, Gorm was simply amazing (many locations in Copenhagen). We had three different types and the thin crust was a stand out in all cases. The...More

As a vegetarian the stands I could eat from were limited. However, there were a couple of bits and also some lovely places to get cake and coffee.

Try the famous Smørrebrød (rye bread open top sandwich). They may be just a slice of bread with a topping but they are delicious and filling. You can't leave the market without tasing cinnamon buns or cinnamon cake or any of the Danish pastries!

For a non foodie, I will say now, don’t bother walking in. The first thing non foodie (or someone who is not particularly appreciative of food as a cultural connection) will say that the prices are expensive. Whilst I wouldn’t say expensive = quality, I...More

We loved the concept of so many different food options at one spot. We especially loved the sushi, it was one of the best sushi bars we've ever visited! It was also a pretty cool experience seeing chefs preparing sushi right in front of us.

Fantastic location for traditional Smorrebrod and other danish treats. Be prepared to roll yourself out of the two food halls full of delights. Plenty to take home as gifts too. Worth a visit and very near Norrebro tube station.

A great place for groceries or a quick bite. Very diverse offerings all of great quality. The place is not huge and can get quite busy, but anyone that likes good food should be impressed!

I'm not sure if there are specifically halal/ pork free stalls. However there are lots of stalls selling fish and sea food, pastries and vegetarian options so you will be able to find food that is meat free.

The cost is equivalent to GBP£6 or GBP£7 and I think that two is the right number. Alternatively one open sandwich and a pastry/cake. Enjoy your time in Copenhagen
