We walked through the Latin Quarter whilst doing some shopping in Copenhagen. There are plenty of stores to look in and things to admire in the area. There is a really good vibe in the area and definitely worth having a little look when in...More

Most of our time in Copenhagen was spent taking long walks through the central city area. While on one of these walks heading for Oerstedsparken, we found ourselves in the Latin Quarter. It is a fascinating neighbourhood full of small, quirky shops eateries and some...More

The area has a nice vibe to it and the stores here are different to those that you'll find on stroget. I'd say this is a new favorite areas as it has many vintage stores and great places to eat. The only downside is that...More

Don't get me wrong, if you like unique little stores and people watching, this is a great place. But lots of cities have places like this, so this is not particularly unique. It just depends what you are looking to do.

They call this area a city within a city. There are lots of cafes, coffee houses and boutiques of local artists. This is near the University. Although it is bustling with people, it doesn't feel touristy like in Stroeget. Put this on your list if...More

If you're into small cosy Bistro's, specialized delicatessen shops , interesting non-chain clothing stores and vivid atmosphere -this is the area for you. Take your time stroll around and just be.

You're not going to miss much if you can't make it to the Latin Quarter. It's got some of the oldest buildings in the city and the super fun Rundetarn (Round Tower), but it's basically the Copenhagen version of the NYU neighborhood in New York.

Walking to the marble church? Stroll around the area for some unique shops and cuisine (again not Latin) but a different feel from other areas of Copenhagen.
