This small museum was empty when we visited. It certainly deserves a visit as it provides a different prospective on life in this area in times past. There is something for both children and adults and admission is included if you have the Copenhagen Card...More

i went to the museum just to see the lenin statue in the courtyard. the staff were very helpful and the building was really nice! really good experience, but don’t give up if you’re looking for it specifically.

Quite an interesting concept for a museum, quite a bit of it is based on family and working life, and how it evolved through the 20th century. Exhibits are well laid out, with a recreated flat on one floor. However, information could be a bit...More

This is a museum dedicated to the life of the average Danish worker. It is located in a beautiful large centrally located historic town house (although I think it has always been a place dedicated to the Social Democrats as a meeting place and HQ)....More

While spending a few days in Copenhagen, we visited this very interesting museum. The history of the working class Danes, their struggles and even their homes reminded me of our own Scottish industrial past. There was plenty to see, even for the younger children, including...More

I really like this museum as it had a fascinating story to tell about the lives of working class people. You realise the importance of the union movement in improving people's lives - I particularly liked the 8/8/8 slogan - 8 hours work/8hours rest/8 hours...More
