Really lovely place to enjoy silence and just being. Take a picnic blanket and food with you and you´ll be in paradise. (it does´t work when it is windy and rainy of course :)

It's 20km from Ribe to Mandoe. If you are visiting Ribe, can drive to this isolated island closely with nature. Be sure to check the water level if you are driving by yourself instead of joining tour. It's a quite & peaceful island. The Bus...More

Our son and his family rode the Tracker Bus to Mono Island, spending the day and having lunch before returning to the mainland. The tide only allows transit twice daily.
