All the monasteries are worth visiting as they are all close together and can be seen in one day.Lots of walking and photo oportunities.Look for people climbing on the large monoliths.

I spent a week staying under a tree at Vrachos Camping.....and spent every day just walking up through the bushes towards the monasteries...no buses...just go it alone and you will be surprised what you will see more than the tourists on the bus.....take water lol...More
