You need strong soled water shoes. The beach is pebbled and slopes into the sea and until you are able to swim, it is a pebbly and rocky entrance. That having been said, it is very pretty and the sea is clean and usually very warm....More

The water is so clear, it is perfect for snorkeling, that's what I spent an amazing afternoon doing, relaxing and snorkeling. Who doesn't want to spend a holiday doing that?

The politics of dining here are too complicated! Ben's bar allows freedom of movement, the Monodendri Beach bar doesn't. Waiters or waitresses swoop to seize their customers on arrival. it is very off-putting.

Free parking and sun beds for taverner users. Stunning beach but difficult to walk on the large cobble stones. Take beach shoes and make the effort and you will be rewarded with warm crystal clear waters teeming with fishes. Views really are spectacular. If the...More

Monodendri beach sometimes spelt Manadendri is perfect. There is a fantastic beach, fabulous restaurant and a swimming pool for those who don't want to go in the sea. For me it's one of the best beaches to go to.

Without doubt one of the most beautiful beaches you are likely to visit on the island with an excellent restaurant at each end, crystal clear water, pebbles and sun beds if you need them!

Fantastic beach with a choice of three restaurants. Brilliant for swimming. All three offer good food, my personal favourite being Ben's. You can lounge on the beach, have cocktails and even a massage.

A very pebbly beach that is quite difficult to get into the sea from. Stones are very slippery in the sea and is course hot on the beach. There is a wooden walkway into the sea but it is very slippery. Suggest buying some beach...More

We went to Manadendri (as they call it) a few times on our holiday. We passed through Bens Bar which seemed pleasant enough if not a little bit of a 'fashionistas' hang out and we went next door to Bastas. They charge €5 if you...More

Hi , you can but in the heat and dusty roads it's a mission, the bus Is a great experience on the narrow snaking roads plus you get the views. I would do the walk going back, downhill.
