Though lacking much in the way of interesting rocks and coves, the main town beach of Livadia is clean and the water is crystal clear. It is stony so difficult to get in and out but the water is warm, even in October and if you are staying in the town it is very handy for a daily swim or snorkel.

Livadia is the central point of the island. This beach lays along the shore. you can find many taverns& motels just behind the beach. They provide sunbed&umbrellas. It is a pebble and clean beach.

A long sweep of bay entirely made of stoney beach and clear water, backed by tamarisk and intersperse by low-rise buildings, mostly apartments etc... Plenty of sunbeds in front of the commercial venues (ie cafes) but lots of clear space if you prefer to avoid these. Sunbeds are free as long as you spend a few euro at the premises providing them. A very peaceful beach - no watersports or loud music!
