Clear water, thatched umbrellas, wooden lounge chairs and decent snacks--it worked for us. There is a restaurant above the beach itself if you don't want to be down by the water. We wanted to swim and snack, so we walked down the flight of stairs...More

Couple of small bars / hotels with private beaches, not golden sands but so so peaceful. Water clear and warm and use of beds for a small purchase. Fantastic

It is not a must-see location, but it is interesting. Easy access along the road. Interestingly dark-coloured sand, underwater rocks shaped by the waves. You could imagine a sense of closeness to Africa - afterall, it is the Libyan Sea. Also Ierapetra itself has an...More

Nice beach, not to much busy, if you come from Spinalonga, you will like this nature beach; its a cafe there and you can change you.

Holidaying in Stalis on the North coast of Crete, but due to clouds and wind early in the season we drove over to the South coast chasing the sun. This beach is OK but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice and I'm sure there...More

It was almost deserted that day. Maybe that's why we liked it even more. There is a cafe, shower and little dressing room. Also you can rent umbrella and sunbed. Or lay just on the towel under some tree.
