Upon stumbling upon the Harbor, you also get to see the Lighthouse. Nothing fancy but it has sentimental value to the area. Glorious sighting neighbored by delicate shops for souvenirs and plenty of places to eat and drink

Take her by the hand.. Kiss her so much. Mouts Mouts make sounds. If you come here bring tissues. You can come by car.

A lovely walk out along the harbour wall to the Venetian lighthouse. The path is uneven in places, we had trainers on but plenty of people were managing in flip flops!

The sight of the lighthouse had a soothing effect on me when viewing it across the Venetian Harbor during our 5-night stay in Chania. One day my wife and I trekked around the harbor and seawall right up to the lighthouse. Entry to the interior...More

The lighthouse is preserved, in almost perfect order, at the end of the breakwater - it is best seen by a walk to the end. The only downside is that you cannot actually get IN to the lighhouse, but its beautiful day and night -!

Well worth walking along the wall to see Chania from the sea.... early evening is a good time when it's not so hot. Massive choice of restaurants in the harbour.... all good.

this is the iconic symbol of Chania. Worth the walk around the harbor if weather permits. We loved it!!!

It is well worth a visit. It takes approximately 30 minutes if you also want to take pictures, which you will want, as the sceneries are beautiful. Buy a take away drink at the beginning for five euros.

We went there to the lighthouse today and it is beautiful. A lovely, stately example of the Venetian architecture which is still very much used today.

Fifteen minutes at the most, it's a short distance for an able bodied walker.
