A great place to roam around. The old town as a whole is lovely for roaming. The harbour also has a lot of seafront cafes and restaurants though I would opt for the back street restaurants. Better food and cheaper.

the old Venetian harbour is what makes Chania unique, and the scenery is unique in Crete and in Greece, immediately recognizable. Wonderful atmosphere, full of restaurants, bars and shops, obviously full of people and very busy at the hight of the tourist season.
