This statue of a running man is made from blocks of glass sheets. It is located on a roundabout to the east of the city. We spotted it from the window of the X95 bus when heading to the airport.

This modern sculpture of a running man pays tribute to the ancient marathon runners. The sculpture is located in a busy intersection but it is possible to stop for a minute or two to fully appreciate it.

When driving into athens, a massive glass statue is not what you expect to see, however there it is, it is worth a look as it is so different. It looks like a runner running into the wind.
