Had a couple of drinks at Tar The Art Foundation. Would never have found it if it wasn’t for Trip Adviser. Really chilled out and friendly would definitely recommend taking the time to find.

Lovely courtyard bar, gallery with a great buzzy atmosphere. In a quiet side street, not obvious but worth finding.

It is a very nice place to sit, outside but with shadow, nice music. Frequented by locals and tourists.

Came here for a pre-dinner drink and my partner ended up buying a dress in one of the surrounding shops; being middle-aged we certainly pushed the average age up, as it was mainly a young crowd, but we didn't feel out of place. You certainly...More

When you arrive you feel that somebody decide to keep this place secret. Old building, new concept, nice bar, stores for ladies ( not only)... Good service and fair prices...

After you found the inconspicuous entrance you are in a little oasis in the middle of Athens / Monastiraki. There's a very beautiful café / bar in the patio (I guess open during summer and roofed during winter), with a big tree in the middle....More

Monastiraki
Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a

Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is
where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the
tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street
