I just love this place because the shops mingle with the restaurants and pubs to give the tourist a one-of-a-kind experience. I have to pass by this place every time I’m at Athens and I definitely recommend it to others.

Was so great to walk around here in my free time in Athens, beautiful neighbourhood with many flowers and nice sights. Worth a walk through while in Athens for sure!

Great area for a drink after a long day of touring the city. The area hasa cool vibe, I recommend ordering a drink where you can sit outside on the steps.
Narrow streets of plaka offers what not some souvenir shops olive oil olive oil soaps spices great drinks amazing people fantastic food.
You could eat almost anywhere in the neighborhood. Yes, it is a bit touristy, but very charming overall. We walked there a number of times.
A lovely place to amble and soak up the atmosphere. Plenty of shops to browse. Well worth walking around and exploring hidden corners.
