There are 100 steps to the top. Many are slick and uneven so go while you are healthy! The site is incredible and a must see. I went in April and it was hot at the top. By noon it was loaded with visitors and...More

Great first time visit to Greece and enjoyed our walk-about the Acropolis. We found the walk up to the entrance easy walking from the East along the south side roadway. We arrived at the entrance around 8:20am. We had the Rick Steeves audio tour guides...More

A steady climb to the Acropolis site. Well worth the visit but go to the museum first. It makes it easier to understand. It does get crowded. If you buy a ticket for 30 Euros it covers other sites and no queuing.

This place is amazing. Traveling in April has less tourists and was able to take pictures with the ruins on its own. Love the hike. Make sure you are ready with your sneakers, water and camera. My pictures with my friend were all fabulous

Hi Alice! You can get the combo ticket at any attraction such as Hadrian's Library. I don't know how he would feel while walking around the Acropolis, there are many stones in the way and the surface is not regular at all.
