This is a Shiva temple as powerful as the Shiva temple of Kashi (Varanasi). There is a big Shiva Linga in the inner sanctum. There is a big trident in the temple premises. The temple is very well maintained. It's neat and clean.

This is a small temple on the banks of Ganga river where raja Bhageerath worshiped Lord Shiv to bring the river down to the earth.
