One of the nicest, most impressive churches in Porto in my opinion. A wonderful sense of calm inside, but no pictures allowed so I have nothing to share here. Actually maybe that's why it's so peaceful inside! Just lovely though, so intricate in terms of decor with gorgeous gold gilted side altars and a huge, high main altar. Dimly lit which adds to its air of mystique and charm. Right next door to Sao Bento train station so very easy to find. Definitely one of my favourite places in Porto.

The is a beautiful church as you walk toward the main square of Porto. Lots of azulejos and ornate sections. Stop in for a peaceful moment on your way to see more famous churches, but not necessarily more beautiful.

Church of St Anthony's Congregation dominates the square, across the Sao Bento Railway Station. Attractively decorated with the typical Portuguese blue and white tiles, it creates an impressive and memorable view of this place in the city, easy to refer to while navigating the maze of its streets.

Another church you can find in the centre of Porto. Nice decorated with azulejas and also the innerside of the church.

Very ornate building with panels of blue/white frescos looking good against the grey stone of the exterior. Set in a large open area too with other buildings and monuments.
