This is a huge cathedral and very impressive. Unfortunately, it is under a major restoration and the nave could be accessed. A fee is charged to see the cloistered, Treasury, and other areas. We chose to pass on these as we wristlet interested in the...More

Interesting landmark overlooking the city and nice view from the location. Unfortunately there is restoration or construction at the site and not much to see other than the exterior. Still worth the walk to the location

The cathedral is on a beautiful big plaza and even though we did not go inside the cathedral we enjoyed the views from the plaza. It is a bit of a climb to reach the cathedral but worth it just to get some nice pictures.

I'm sure it will be great to see this once the major renovations are completed. For now give it a pass.

This once beautiful cathedral has fallen on hard times. It is in major disrepair, which is such a shame. The handsome tiles are still mostly in place but the structure around them is deteriorating. We were there on a Sunday morning to attend Mass. The...More

Although we did not enter the Sé, it is quite a beautiful piece of architecture. The views from outside are amazing. Definitely a must visit for those spending a day in Porto.

We were there on a rainy morning and I suppose nothing looks it’s best under wet and grey skies. There is a nice terrace in front of it but actually nothing stunning. To me it summed up Porto a little - a bit run down,...More

We just walked up to the cathedral. Line wasn’t bad at all. You only pay if you want to see More than the main sanctuary.
