There are a number of cafes and shops here catering 99% to tourists. Good place though for people watching, better go elsewhere to find good food.

This road it's a walking road. You have some café and restaurants along the road. Many building need renovation some of them are actually in renovation. At night there is a part where it's very dark so not felling secure.

We thought it was ok, and there are many choices of good restaurants. When we were there, however, in early October, it was crowded and there was a lot of dust in the air from construction.

An interesting stroll down this mainly shops, cafes and restaurants, leading eventually down to the river. We used a couple of restaurants along this, both good and enjoyable.

I'm sorry, I don't know where the hotel you identified is. Most of the street is a pedestrian street, but there are cross streets that may allow taxis to come very close.
