Not one of the magnificent cathedrals that can bee seen around Portugal but worth a visit. The best part of this building is the Cloisters spanning both the16th and 18th centuries

Well worth a short trip and it is lovely and cool inside. Look at the height of the roof and imagine them building it and painting it.

The building as most in Portugal are in good shape and worthwhile to visit. We did like it. The difficulty in parking is always an issue

Interesting history, combination of various styles. Try to collect some info before you visit, much more interesting than the bombastic stairs thing

Amazing architecture. Lamego is an adorable town to visit - make sure you go during the week if you want to do a little shopping - everything is closed on Sundays - but its all good and fun

Centrally located, peaceful and cool inside . Glorious ancient stonework . Decoration not too overwhelming. Look up at the beautiful frescoes on the ceiling. A great refuge from the heat or the world outside.
