    Lovely historic place to visit

    Lovely old church, great historic decor inside, well worth a visit if in Monte Inside you can admire the furnitings and light a candle for a loved one. The views from the area outside the church are amazing

    Check to see if cruise ships are due as it can get busy If you are visiting the botanical gardens there is a separate cable car to enjoy Well with doing

    Early in the day as soon as it opens as if cruise ships come in there is a long wait

    Its a long walk and very steep. Use the local bus or group together for a taxi (ignore the first few drivers and the taxi price magically drops)
