A must-try for cocktails in Madeira!
We visited this bar because of the recommendation from a travel guide. This bar had seaside views and incredible craft cocktails. Ingredients were fresh, my other half loved his banana split cocktail, with caramelized bananas. I enjoyed a personalized cocktail, which was delicious, and put together with thought and care. The owners are a fun couple, who made the experience unforgettable with great service. We can’t wait to come back!

Best spot in Funchal
This cocktail bar was one of the best things about our trip! Located 3 steps from our hotel, we had a great time every night. The owners basically adopted us during our time in Funchal! Snacks are delicious. Their Cocktails rival those of NYC, Toronto, Miami.

Delicious cocktails, lovely staff and great setting
Small cocktail bar with a personal feeling. Absolute 10/10 delicious drinks in a nice setting. The couple running the bar are lovely, really friendly and to top it all off the music is great. You have to stop here for a drink!! Gutted we found this on our last night

Best Cocktail Bar experience on Madeira.
My sons always seem to find the best places to have beautiful cocktail. Revolucion Cocktail Bar can be included as one of the best. The proprieter and his wife were quick with the jokes, made us feel welcomed and really did make the best drinks. I had an orange chocolate drink that was memorable. I so highly recommend this establishment.

What a night!!!!! .delicious cocktails, amazing service, great vibe and reasonably priced! Me and my boyfriend came across this fun little place before dinner and loved it so much that we came back afterwards for more drinks (lots more!!!!!) Such an unassuming place at first but as you get closer you hear the rock music and then once you sample a drink you realise this couple really have amazing skills at blending interesting flavours and making unforgettable cocktails. Great night, we really loved it and felt totally inspired and humbled to see an exceptionally talented and passionate team at work - keep it up my friends!!! Xx

Amazing cocktails!

Myself and my partner enjoyed some brilliant cocktails here during our stay in Funchal. It was really busy when we arrived, but Miguel made sure we were happy with a little bit of a wait for our drinks and they didn’t disappoint! Miguel and his partner put so much passion into their drinks and they made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this bar if you are looking for some of the best cocktails/ponchas in Funchal!

Worst bar ever

This bar was unreal, the main gal was so nice and clearly had a passion for making cocktails. As someone who loves cocktails and has worked in bars I thought it was great. €3.50 for delicious caparinhas you can’t go wrong!!!

Best freshmade cocktails I ever had. Telma makes all the cocktails with so much love and you can feel it's not only a job, it's her passion.
Michal received us with open heart and open arms. He's a real entertainer. Looking forward to more visits in the future

By far the best custom made cocktails we've ever had!
The lady knows her drinks, watching her work is like watching perfumes being made. The owner was superkind and very friendly.
Almost forgot, excellent poncha too!
Thank you for an amazing drinking experience!

There’s a magician behind the bar!

This place has a magical bartender! What an amazing place owned by amazing people. They have so many amazing drinks on the menu and if by chance you don’t want any of those you can choose a fruit, spirit, and a topping and they will come up with something personalized to your taste. The owner/bartender is as skilled with her craft as a Michelin star chef. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you are in Madeira and you don’t visit this place…the FOMO feeling will haunt you forever!!! Don’t let that happen to you!!! Go to Revolucion Bar!!! You need this in your life!

This is one of the finest cocktail bars in the world (I’ve been to a few). Its run by people who love what they’re doing using local ingredients, making their own syrups & bitters. If you don’t fancy any of the standard menu ones they will create one for you by asking what spirits tastes & flavours you like. On top of that there is an eclectic soundtrack far superior to any other bar I’ve been to in Madeira (or anywhere else for that matter) and it has got a lovely ambiance. The couple who run it make every effort to make you feel welcome. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Best Cocktail Bar

This bar was recommended to us by the staff from the santa maria restaurant/hostel, which is also a great place to eat with great staff, and what a recommendation it was. This was by far one of the best cocktail bars in funchal and I have visited in a while. The owners miguel and tama were one of the most amazing people i have met and made us feel welcome, took care of us and even surprised us with some of the best cocktails i have had. Not only did they have original cocktails but they even catered cocktails to our own individual taste. The staff that worked there were also amazing and friendly and could not ask for better people and vibe. The whole experience was great and will definitely recommend it to everyone who visits funchal.

We visited here based on the excellent previous reviews and we absolutely loved it. Great drinks skilfully made, friendly owners who made us really welcome and always greeted us with smiles and humour. Also loved the setting and great background music. We look forward to returning one day very soon. Well done !!
