This is not the largest square in Lisbon but it loses nothing in its charm as a result, surrounded by shops, restaurants it is a great place to while away some time. There is a number 28 tram stop on the northern side, if you...More

Close to many places, metro, tram28, shopping center, sea is just 10 minutes away. I highly recommend to have a drink at the Kiosk there and just relax for a while. Look at passing trams and people. Very charming place.

When we were in Baixa-Chiado, this was the place where we couldn't get enough of. We grabbed Pastel de Nat and coffee from the Quiosque de Refresco right in the square and sat at the monument to enjoy the beautiful touristic vibes in the area....More

This is the heart of the Chiado district with a Metro station, a noble statue and lots of places to eat and drink. Very busy.

Busy square across from the Bairro Alto Hotel. Nice for people watching. A lot of shopping in the area and a block away is a string of cafes where you can hear musicians play

Ok that's my nickname for this buzzy square at the base of Bairro Alto. Down to the train station, up to the heights of Bairro Alto, right to the shopping area and left to, well not a lot but still worth a walk along to...More

A nice place to stop and relax after the trek up the hill. Have particularly enjoyed seeing some live music here. Also, the tram lines pass either side so it has a buzzy atmosphere and a taste of old Lisbon.

Basically my title says it all. Because it's small(ish) size, central location and Metro Station, this place is busy, full and noisy, but on a good way. Not the most important Square in Town, but worth of stop, because you probably are near anyway.

Very nice square with the central bronze statue of a Luis de Camoes, a famous 16th century Portuguese poet, a work of Victor Basos from 1867. There are some very nice buildings around the square and the Lisbon’s best known cafe, "A Brasileira", traditional meeting...More
