This museum has a huge collection of armaments dating back to the middle ages. The exhibits are arranged in order and flow in one direction. It's a very well organized museum. If you like military history and weapons, this is a must see.

The museum is home to what is probably the finest collection of pre-20th century artillery in the world, much of which sits out in an enormous courtyard for lack of room to pack it all in inside. In the 16th century the building housed a foundry...More

The interior of this building is beautiful and well worth the entrance fee of 4 euros. The history and exhibits are a little bit confusing in no particular order but again worth seeing. A visit will take around an hour.

At a walking distance from city center, this military museum is housed in an old building. It includes possibly the biggest collection of canons in Europe. A large part of the museum is dedicated to WWI and the portuguese contribution. Nice collection of Orders, medals,...More

Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides
don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part
of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel
like independent villages in the capital's center, and
more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants
and parks, as well as important monuments like the S.
Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a
spectacular option for those looking for a more
