This neighborhood is great for night life. Plenty of bars and restaurants. We experienced some live music that was awesome.

We stayed at an airbnb in the Bairro, so much going on beautiful architecture, parks, restaurants as well as a bustling nightlife, The backstreets are still a bit grungy and their are a few interesting characters around, but overall we had no problems and felt...More

Great area for city break. Plenty o f restaurants and bars tucked away in little cobbled streets. Very hilly city and all cobbled streets so you definitely need flat walking shoes

Many fine, moderately priced, restaurants in this area. Narrow streets, plenty of tourists, and lots of TA reviews to help narrow down the many fine choices!

Lots of bars, restaurants, people, views. Great place to walk around and one of the few neighborhoods you will find stores open on Sundays. Very touristy but worth walking around.
