I was so impressed by this place, they sell sardines from one hundred years ago! They can be transported in hand luggage and they are unforgettable. I visited three times during my holiday and I can't wait to come again!!

Although I think €7 for a tin of sardines is expensive, I am so glad that we went to visit this store. It is something different and unusual and it provides a nice gift or souvenir from your trip to Lisbon.

Like buying tinned sardines?  then go here, simple as that! Situated on the Praca Rossio where a pop up food market is also present. More sardines than you could ever shake a stick at...!

The taste of those different types of sardines or tuna is an expierience. I found them very tasty. You must taste the bacalhau fumato. Yummie!

Found this weird and wonderful shop in Rossio - there is also one in the airport if you need a last minute, unique gift. Obviously there expressly for the tourists but great fun, colourful and something you probably won't have seen the like of before....More
