Lucia's home is filled with original furnishings and family pictures. It even has live sheep living in the pen attached to the home. Visiting her home gives a sense of the living conditions in this area during the early 1900's.
Enjoyed the opportunity to see where Lúcia lived. A larger home, than most of that time period. Was also able to walk down to the garden where the three children saw the angel, who told them they would be seeing an apparition.
If you are in Fatima you cannot miss the houses. It may be important for Catholics but it is just a simple house where Lucia lived.
Although cleaned up and made to look nice, yu can tell th simplicity of life 100yrs ago of poor sheep herders. Not bad at all. Just blessed to be able to actually step into her house and feel one with her.
Lucia’s house, along with giving you a good feel for her living conditions, has an interpretive center, a stable with sheep, and public wash rooms.

We traveled here with 50 others' on a pilgrimage and visited this place with local guide who was very informative. We also saw the site of Francisco and Jacinta's graves.
i feel so lucky to have been able to visit this place, for me to have a glimpse of one of the three children's life
