I visited this cottage with my tour group. It was very interesting to see the house where Lucia and her family lived. There were replicas of the furniture as well as her bed. There were sheep in the barn for authenticity.

As a Catholic, this place means something as we learned the history of the presence of Mother Mary years ago. When I was there, all goosebumps were back and I could not help my tears from falling as I was walking to the corner to...More

A very moving experience. Being here puts the whole story of a famous miracle in Fátima all together. Makes you realize just how far the three children ( Lucia Santos, 10, with her cousins, Jacinta, 7, and Francisco Marto 9 ) walked from home to...More

Lucia's home is filled with original furnishings and family pictures. It even has live sheep living in the pen attached to the home. Visiting her home gives a sense of the living conditions in this area during the early 1900's.
