Here we find a beautiful little palace who was built in 1892 and it's also a Library dos Condes de Castro, which exhibits antic Portuguese furnitures and Indo-Portuguese and many 17 th century ceramics; a nice little museum to visit.

We spent about an hour going through this great house with amazing antiques inside. But the views from the windows gave the things inside a run for their money! Friends went to the other great house opposite (Santa Marta), but said this was much nicer.

A small entry charge to see a portuguese Count's house built in 1900 but containing some much earlier furniture and artifacts. Closed Monday . Well worth a visit. I have no idea why a quotation from Shakespeare's king lear is in the cloisters, but this sums...More

Having walked through the nearby park and seen peacocks and chickens we then came across this museum. It was a very interesting visit with a variety of artefacts in differing settings. Very worth a visit.

Set opposite the cidadela wall, to the west, at the edge of an appealing park space is another interesting museum, rather similar in many ways to British NT properties. Lots of dimly lit rooms full of the artefacts of their time - mainly 16th century...More

Free entry to this amazing place. It's totally worth it. Near the marina and lighthouse. Staffs were very knowledgeable and helpful. Surrounding park with birds for instance peacocks adds more to this attraction. Anyone who visits nearby, I would recommend this place.

Loved the architecture, decoration, and location of this house. A good size and set up to wander around quite freely as it is not crowded.

Full of beautiful/tasteful things from different periods and countries, this is another easy museum of Cascais. The cloister is a lovely place to sit on a hot day.

Hi, it is closed on Mondays and free on one day of the week but I can't remember which day. There is a sign outside the door which tells you. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
