One of the best experiences of my life. The guide (Raisa) was very helpful, kind. She showed us some starts (the night was very clear) and made us got there on the exact perfect time to sit an start watching the sunrise. She made us coffee in Piquinho and really respected the sunrise moment with silence. The climb was ok, going downa was harder, not for everyone. Really enjoyed going at night and coming back after sunrise.

My friend and I did two activities with Tripix and they were both awesome! Having not access to a car on Pico, we were looking for a tour that could give us a full and adventurous experience, our eyes landed on the “Secret Lagoon and Lava Cave Tours” and we were not disappointed! We started the morning with exploring two caves with Raisa, our guide. The two caves we visited are only known by some locals so we got to explore over 700m of caves just by ourselves. Raisa was very knowledgeable on the subject and we were provided with great gear to explore without being afraid of hurting ourselves and getting ourselves dirty. After the cave exploration, Raisa brought us to a local restaurant where we got to try some very nice food from the Azores. The afternoon we got to explore a large portion of the islands; some hidden lagoons (since sometime the fog just hides it from everyone), the coast where we really got to appreciate the remains of the eruption and the solidified lava. Raisa also made us try some local wine as she wanted to make sure we couldn’t leave Pico without trying at least a glass of wine from there. We also had initially planned to do the Pico Night Climb later that day, but the weather was unfortunately not on our side. We instead got rebooked on the Pico Day Climb the next day which was great none the less. They taught us about some plants, gave us a taste of the local drink, and got us all the way to the top in a good pace. Bring lots of Water, Snacks and Lunch! Thanks Tripix!

To climb mount pico at night is magical, you will ascend between the stars and lights of the small villages. It’s also probably the best for people that get intimidated by the size and slope of the mountain. The joy of viewing the raise if the sun will be magical and unforgettable. If going up is hard coming back will be 3 times harder. As you will be tired and your knees will start showing what is pain. To be honest o would not of been able to pull this off without the professional support of Tripix, they know what they are doing and are prepared for the many things that can happen, always showing the best path, keeping the moral up and making it seem possible. I will never forget this moment and support of our guide Raisa Oliveira.

Great experience with a great guide! The activity was perfectly organized from the greeting to the end. Mateo took care of us every minute, so we could climb relaxed and motivated by him (even when we are not super fit:). It was also an unforgettable birthday thanks to him!

We did the day tour to the mountain top with Raisa as our guide and it was amazing. The weather was very good, it was a sunny day and we could see all the views from the top. Regarding Raisa, she is a lovely person, with a lot of conversation and a exciting life. As well, she is a very good professional doing her job and made the road much easier due to her explanations. If you go to Pico Island, I recommend you climb the Pico mountain and choosing Raisa as your guide. 100% recommendable experience.
