If staying in the area you have to visit it, partly because the area itself is not that big. It is however a bit of a trudge up and down the hill. If just there for the day it would be better just looking from...More

Nice little walk into the port. Not big or commercial like many others in the area but not much to see other than the vast ocean. We did enjoy walking and just looking around. Not much open this time of year.

This port was one of the highlights of our trip. Although it's a small fishing harbor, the fish auction upstairs (and small coffee/luncheon diner) was fascinating. A must-see!

Very nice place to visit and see the traditional fishing people. We arrived there with faroairporttransfersalgarve.com from Faro airport. It is a very good company to deal with

Walk the length of the dock and appreciate the vastness of the ocean, you have nothing to lose, it's free :)

At 8 or 9am you can see the fishermen sorting the catch in this small harbour watched by a number of gulls and stray cats. There are a few boats to look at, including the local lifeboat in a red shed which you can see...More

We were here for a dive with Divers Cape (Excellent instructors - see my previous review elsewhere). The port itself is OK but wouldn't recommend spending much time here unless you really like old boats in various stages of decomposition.

I like looking at the fishing boats come in and comings and goings of a port but there is not much else to do except pick up trips and book them from here. Tricky steps to walk down if you have limited mobility (next to...More
