We stayed close to this long and wide beach and enjoyed very much walking and running on the beach, playing in the waves and looking for shells. There is also great possibilities for all sorts of water sports. Remember to come both at low tide...More

Meia Praia is a typical Algarve beach - huge, clean, virtually deserted and well serviced by beach bars/ restaurants, sun beds and brolly’s.

Probably the nicest beach we have encountered in Europe . Seems to stretch forever , golden fine sand . no rocks or even pebbles obstructing way into ocean . We visited two decent beachbars which have sunbed concessions .

Great child friendly beach, lovely tavernas all the way along. You can walk to Alvor if your fit enough.. nudist area as well just past the stone wall.

It was love at first sight when on my first visit to Lagos in 1986 I fell in love with Meia Praia. I used to dream of this beautiful beach, spotlessly clean with the the Atlantic Ocean caressing the shoreline. But my enduring memory is...More

I don´t know if you mean Paddle Boards or canoes? Becaue there were several canoe tours starting from beaches in Lagos. I did not see Paddle Boards, but I don´t know if there aren´t any.
