Nice little sandy cove. Great at this time of the year but I can imagine it gets very crowded in the main season as it's so close to the main centre of Carvoeira. Not sure how easy it is to park as we just walked...More

Stunning little beach - with little fishing boats and a nice walkway. Very dramatic with the cliffs behind it

Carvoeiro beach is a small cove with cliffs all round. The waves are quite big and not the safest place to swim. There are boat trips on offer and it’s nice watching the boats being launched and returning from the sea.

Typical Algarve beach. Greta sand but the sea is still cold and the waves are quite lively. Nearby plenty of bars and restaurants and also public wc's . A great place to spend the day if you like the beach. Not much parking nearby.

This beach is clean child friendly with boat trips going from here. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Never sure when they bring the sun beds out for hire.

If you're in the Algarve then Carvoeiro is well worth a visit. Most people that go once seem to keep coming back afterwards - I'm one of them. The square by the beach has more bars/restaurants than you could ever need, and that's before you...More
