When you do the cliffs boardwalk you passes this very nice cliff with also a little bar (was not open now because works, but opens soon). The full boardwalk is very beautiful.

Bay on a crumbling coast - not a beach if that's what you are looking for! The newish boardwalk goes past, and there may be a cafe/bar overlooking the cliffs but it wasn't clear if it was closing or potentially reopening!

Parking was easy and close by with magnificent cliff and ocean views an easy walk away. Take some time to explore. Well worth the visit.

Love this place to sit outside on a sunny day and relax with a glass or two and enjoy a nice lunch soaking on the view.

Day trip with two primary school children. Youngest (5) not generally interested in active things (walking / hikes) unless it is FUN. Parked at the end of the board walk, at Algar Seco, and spent 45 mins scrambling over the rocks, through the rock windows,...More

Have been here many times and it is a fascinating site but after the heavy winds and rains the path down to the rocks was closed off so you couldn’t get too close.

I go to the Algarve and Carveiro at least once a year and Algar Seco is my favourite lunchtime location. The food is great and salads a must. Looking over the Atlantic in a peaceful location is perfect. The staff always make us welcome and...More

The boardwalk at Algar Seco is free and there are clifftop walks beyond the Boneca bar. The walk down the hill into Carvoeiro has lovely sea views all the way - but it is a steep walk back! While in Carvoeiro, it is worth... More

Lunch in the square in Ferragudo is a must. Take the trouble to walk up the hill towards the church via the narrow cobbled streets. Also, walk along the harbour side past the nets and grilling fish - but don't stop there... More
