Beautiful experience

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. After visiting the Algarve for over 12 years we fancied something a little different. This was the place to be - a vineyard tour and tasting!
Very well priced for the experience received. Our tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and very personable.
As I do not drink alcohol (out of choice) I was a little apprehensive, however my parents made the most of the experience for me. I felt so much apart of the tour group even though I was the odd one out and still learned a lot.

Will be returning next year to see what the new owners do to the place.

We had a fabulous time wine tasting with the very knowledgeable Carla. An absolute joy, would highly recommend. We left with 12 bottles at a bargain price. Many thanks

Average, informative tour but nice wines

Given how close the vineyard is to albufeira we took an Uber and visited for tour and tasting at €10pp.
The ‘tour’ was more an explanation of the vineyard history, grapes used and process for wine making. All interesting but told in a static one place as opposed to a tour around and being shown the vines and grapes up close.
We were then taken into the cellar for a 4 sample tasting. The tasting was good, included some information about each wine and the wines were nice. We did both feel that it felt very rushed. It wasn’t rushed in a sales way that they wanted us to move on and buy from the shop, but that it was just rushed like they wanted us to go. It would have been nice to feel like we could enjoy each sample of wine for a little longer as opposed to quickly drink it down ready for the next so we could be moved along and out.
As noted by others, other vineyards offer tapas which would extend the tasting experience and make it feel more like a settled half an hour rather than a quick sample and off we go.
I do think this vineyard cashes in on the fact that Cliff Richard owns 50% and therefore use that to their PR advantage.
Overall a nice hour for a one off visit.

A smaller winery
Sep 2020
A smaller winery, which we happened to visit to taste the wines, the waiter was so helpful that he invited us to the tour, the tour itself cost 10 euros with a tasting of 4 wines, we could also see the wine making process. The prices of wines were 5-15 eur. 15 euros was more sparkling wine, the usual wines remained at 7 euros. The wines given to me very much did not leave me normal :)

Vineyard tour and wine tasting
Sep 2020 • Friends
We came here one afternoon while on holiday - for €10 you get a tour of the vineyard, the winery (including seeing all of the processing machines and looking into the vats of wine which was great), and then a tasting of 4 wines in the cellar - all guided by an expert. Our guide was Cala and she was professional, informative, funny and friendly! Afterwards we asked for some recommendations for a piri piri restaurant and she gave us lots of advice on that, a great seafood restaurant and a bar!

Great way to spend an hour or two and very good value for money!

Fantastic experience

I was lucky to be the only one on the tour, so had the vineyard and tastings to myself which was rather special. Tour guide Anna was friendly. Personable and knowledgeable. Stunning surroundings, knocked 1 star off as she said the wine is cheaper to buy at their vineyard, yet the wine was much cheaper at duty free. Lovely wines though. Colleague even took me to a local cobblers as my shoe had a hole in due to all the walking I had done on holiday! Lovely friendly staff, highly recommend a visit and will go again if I visit this area. Can’t wait to buy the 2019 Rose!

Great day at Adega do Cantor

My wife and I visited Adega do Cantor and were very impressed with the tour which was given by Jenny. We learned a great deal about the processing of wine making and wine tasting. The cost of the tour was €10 and well worth it.

Really enjoyable
Jan 2020
We have visited the Algarve for over 10 years and have never been here before. What a shame! We arrived for the 11.30am tour and we were greeted by our guide who was very nice and friendly. The tour was informative without being too detailed. The scenery is beautiful and the wine tasting was really good and I learnt about rose wine which I never knew. I have tried Sir Cliff's wine years ago and it wasn't very good, however I could not fault the wine we tasted the white, rose and reds were all exceptional quality and taste. I would highly recommend this trip especially in August when the wine is harvested.

Good wines

We went here while being in Albufeira on holidays. We arrived too late in the afternoon for a visit. So we only bought some bottles of white wine which I can surely recommend.

Nice afternoon trip
Nov 2019
Tour and tasting took just over an hour, it was comprehensive and informative but it did not go into too much details. Friendly and nice atmosphere.
You can purchase wine at the shop/bar at the end of the tour, however if you want to save yourself a few € wait with the purchase until you get to Faro Airport on your way back home.
