you have a lot of various spots to visit within a small area. You can walk to everything and even find other great little things to see and do in this city - just a great stop within Portugal.

As a town in Alentejo for me its the best around, night life is ok and the food is good. Everything is in a walking distance.

Seen by horse drawn carriage the historic centre although not vast is interesting. Very narrow streets are enchanting.

Worth the effort to drive here or get transportation. Many sights to see in town. Lovely little shops and restaurants. Try to stay overnight when most of the day trippers are gone.

We stopped by here for maps and an orientation to the city. Staff were helpful. Worth a quick stop, and there is a view.

The entire historic center is pretty compact and on the level, so walking is not a problem. Typical small town feel, with shops, churches and squares. I enjoyed this town.
