Not to be missed. We hired a car to take us to the falls it’s a short walk up from the parking area with a gentle incline and accessible by all levels. It was very dramatic and the spray could hit you in the face....More

The first falls, a short walk from a small carpark is Vaimahuta Falls, which is well worth a visit. Although not wheelchair accessible, it was an easy walk for us (two seniors with one bad ankle and four bad knees). It's impressive at 300+ feet...More

Went hiking up a private families property to visit this beautiful water fall. After hiking up the mountain for 45 minutes in 86 degree weather, we finally reached the water fall and the pool at the base. The water was a cold 70 degrees and...More

The drive up the road to waterfall is a short one through a small local collection of houses. Only one waterfall is open at this time to the public due to danger of falling rocks. Reading previous reviews it seems that a lot of reconstruction...More

After a failed attempt to see Fautaua Waterfall, this waterfall was a breeze to drive to and a beauty to see. The path/trail to it is relatively short (5-10 min flat walk). There has been time and attention put into maintaining the trail (poured concrete,...More

Authentic beauty and a must see. Do ignore the sign barring the visit past the first waterfall, missing out on the other two really makes no sense and there is no real danger to watch out for.
