Truly inspiring
Oct 2021
The sheer size of Trebah is the first thing of note, it seems to go on forever, but always drags you further to more exciting things round the next corner. there is plenty of interest for children also, the Tarzan area and Fort plus a spell on the beach. It is quite a climb back but I never found it too much even as an angina sufferer.
This is a great way to spend time in any season and you can always get refreshments in the cafe as well as visit the well stocked plant sales area. A great day out.

Absolute Must Visit
Oct 2021
Visited 1st week in October. First time at Trebah. Absolutely brilliant gardens with so many different areas to investigate. An absolute must visit when in the area and only £12 each.

Highlight of our week!
Oct 2021
Just returned from a lovely week in Cornwall - blessed by Autumn sunshine. Someone recommended we visit Trebah - and with limited time available we opted for this over some other gardens. We do not know what the other gardens would have been like but I doubt that they could surpass Trebah. It is like a sub-tropical paradise. Beautifully laid out and with subtle tags on most of the plants naming them, and plethora of paths to create an a large choice and combination of routes from one end of the garden to the other. Apart from enjoying the gardens, there is a small and attractive beach at the lower end of the garden, equipped with a cafe and a few picnic tables. Not to OTT it was just right for providing refreshment after the walk down to the beach, serving basic tea/coffe/cake/ice creams. The main cafe at the top end of the garden had a good choice of food available, especially as we are vegetarian. We spent just under 3 hours in all at Trebah - for us that's a long stay at an "attraction" but would definitely return some time.

Autumn Visit to Trebah
Oct 2021 • Friends
Our third visit to Trebah, but first in the Autumn. Absolutely beautiful as always.
Visited on the 10th of October, and many hydrangeas were still in bloom - some just starting to finish.
Enjoyed a drink on the beach, didn’t use the cafe this time but looked great as always.
Staff were helpful and cheery, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
There is a wheelchair friendly route around the garden.
Dogs are very welcome to all parts too, which is great!

A wonderful place to visit
Oct 2021 • Family
We visited to go for a light lunch and a wonder around the shop and lovely nursery.

The place is, thankfully Dog friendly unlike the National Trust gardens so this is a real win. The food options were superb and we went for ciabata's options with a side of chips. Flat white was excellent as was the food.

The shop and nursery are packed with lovely gifts and I also got some great advice on a particular succulent which was great.

We have been round the gardens before and they are really worth a look.

Stunning & magical even in the rain! Ignore ridiculous comments about dogs being allowed in!
Sep 2021 • Friends
Absolutely beautiful tropical gardens! We went in the pouring rain and it didn’t ruin the experience at all. Due to all the trees and huge tropical plants we had lots of shelter the whole way round. Nice easy loop or a harder route to follow. Lovely visitor centre, helpful staff, amazing gift shop, yummy cafe! Absolutely baffled to see ridiculous comments about dogs being allowed in! It’s completely suitable for dogs. They have a strict policy which they explain on entry - dogs on leads at all times etc. It’s wild and wooded, so dogs could do no damage. In the cafe there are designated dog-friendly areas so if you’re not a dog lover and you choose to sit in this area then the problem is very much yours! I’m also very concerned and shocked to see someone has taken photos of people/families with dogs and posted them on here - you SHOULD NOT take photos of people. Trebah Gardens perhaps you should remove/report the review where the person has taken photos of families? When walking round the gardens I spotted a few lone elderly people sitting admiring the view with their dogs. It was heartwarming to see. How could you not want people to enjoy it in this way? Anyway, thank you Trebah Gardens, we can’t wait to come back! 5 stars from us!

Thank you for the lovely review and five stars, we always share our trip advisor reviews with the staff, all the great ratings like this always make their day! We have raised your concern about the images of families with their dogs shared by another reviewer without permission with Tripadvisor and await response. We can't wait to welcome you back!

A lovely gem to visit. Easy parking. Quite hilly, but wheelchair accessible if need. We went end of Sept so flowers not at their best but still worth a visit. It has a beach where you can swim, get coffee and ice cream. Dogs welcome.

Lovely gardens, stunning private pebble beach
Sep 2021 • Couples
Very easy to book online, warm welcome on arrival with a clear explanation of where to park and where to go. Friendly staff throughout. Koi pond was disappointing, quite small with maybe 5 koi in with one looking like it was dieing. Other than that the rest of the gardens were lovely. The best bit though is the private pebble beach at the bottom, would pay £12 each just to come and spend the day here on a nice day, although no toilets you would have to walk back up to the main building.
