We were in for a tour with some international friends, and the guide helped us in English, Spanish and French and sometimes Flemish ;-). She did such a great job, explaining many things about the city, the rivers, the local habits... and this fluently in...More

The day was windy and rainy. I watched a group of 20 or so Belgian school children between 5 and 6 march onto the boat behind me. My boat ended up with 3 patrons. I guess young Belgian school children are hardier than many of...More

We loved this tour for just €7 per adult this is great value. The trip must of been a good 45 minutes plus. The tour guide had good language skills.

Friendly, knowledgeable and humorous. Given that these guides do this day in day out you could forgive them for sounding jaded, but our skipper/guide Stef was as fresh as a daisy and just kept the worthwhile commentary going for all 40 minutes.

So don't worry your guide will do the other buildings as you return. Good view on many of the iconic buildings and a good quality English commentary as that was the common language on this boat. Being on the waterway you also get to see...More

Bit of a rainy day so chose the company that had a covered boat. We were the only 2 English speaking people on board but the guide was fantastic and translated everything for us. Our trip included a beer and a 'self-guided walkin tour' -...More

I have used both boat companies which operate opposite each other in this beautiful part of Ghent and have been pleased with both. This time we filled the boat and had a good guide with microphone. 45 minutes of Ghent history with lovely views. Very...More

Having done a walking tour on my previous visit, I was keen to explore Ghent differently and to enjoy the amazing sunshine we had on Sunday. There are two boat companies that operate opposite each other. We weren't really bothered with which one we would...More

Great way to see the old part of the city. Guide was extremely informative in 3 languages. A great start to our mini break in this beautiful city. And they gave us a free ice cream!
