Much bigger than you expect, Coudenberg Palace offers a massive area of underground palace cellar ruins and streets (now covered over) to explore. The models along the way help to envisage what it was like originally. Interesting little bit at the end as well to...More

Don't expect beautiful rooms and hallways … it's a former palace and you will see the remains. The architectural vaults in the cellars, the octagonal pillars that used to support the chapel, an old road and much more. At the end there is also a...More

Didn't have much time to explore here, but it was still an amazing sight. Would like to return to find out more.

Belgium has national giants and boasts about it ... they are paraded on national day and we were lucky to witness!! A visit to Coudenberg is worth seeing old archaeological site underneath the ground and an exhibition of Belgian giants!!

Not the easiest museum to find in Brussels, but worth the search. This underground exploration of the early life of the capital is a fascinating look back in history. From old buildings to cobble streets, it's well worth the trip.

The palace is beautiful. The tunnel system is ok — not much to see really. Museum was limited. Worth 10 euro? I guess, but kinda steep for what’s in there.

The other half of the Belvue museum! Pretty quiet and colder inside than out, but a good WiFi enabled audio-guide system gives you the ability to learn all about the palace. Fascinating to imagine in "above ground" as used to be the case.
