Amazing building and super large, this 19th century impressive building was built in the style of a classical temple and was completed in 1883. It is still home to the city's law courts.

We only spend some time seeing the outside and the freely visible area. you can spent some time walking around and taking in the size of this immense building. Personally I was very impressed buy the sheer scale of the entrance area. Unfortunately we didn't...More

Never seen anything that massive before. Inside is magnificent and so grand. You are free to walk around after you pass security control. We spent maybe 30 minutes walking around inside and outside. No fee to go in. Could do with some maintenance, sadly! Recommended...More

This is a huge building which is dominating the skyline. It is covered in scaffolding and I understand it has been like this for 15-20 years. It will be amazing when it is finished but I expect it will not be anytime soon!

Wow, this is stunning and enormous...even though the building is covered with scaffolding, its beauty still shines through . It’s sure to take years to finish the restoration but I’m sure it will be worth it.. the building is at the end of a long...More

It is really Big, although dirty and you can meet lots of pidgeons and homeless guys. It is a pity. The capital of Belgium should take better care of this piece of history-

I gave it 5 start for the majestic building and the beautiful architecture. But it is so sad to see all the gratifies through out the building. I cannot understand how the city or whoever in charge could let this happen. We have traveled the...More

This is a very nice compound or several buildings that you can pass by as you are heading towards the city center.

Impressive and full of history, such a lovely city to visit. We enjoyed every moment of this trip, but the visit to the town center was really special.

Another project of King Leopold II. Reputedly larger than the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and the largest structure of the 19th century. Impressive building but an uninteresting eclectic style. Good views over Brussels from the square in front.
