This is the hart of the "old" Amersfoort. Most bars, restaurants and terraces are here. In the evening there is always a lot to do around the Hof.

There are several pretty and bustling squares in Amersfoort, this one hold the market (Saturday) usual cheese, fish, fruit and vegetables and other goods. Also has open eating restaurants and bars.

We stayed in a hotel right on the Hof and ate dinner at one of the restaurants there as well.I am sure its gets very busy during the warmer months, and probably a little noisy too. They hold a market there on the weekends as well.

The "Hof" is one of the main squares in the old town of Amersfoort, and very much to be recommended to visit. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from to have lunch, dinner or a drink, depending on the time of the day and your needs.
