We were so lucky to join a boat trip with this particular rederij. It was simply a pure pleasure all the way through, from the start of the trip, the chat with the captain, the speech he made the things he told through the trip...More

Went for a cruise in the afternoon and they said it was too hot for the dog onboard at about 41C, and best to come back in the morning, which we did and got the €11 euro one hour cruise, dog went free. Drinks were...More

My friends and I paid €11 each for a 1 hour canal boat tour, which you pay at the little kiosk by the bridge. You have to be quick once boarding to ensure you get your group seated together. Each bank can take 6 people...More

I found this company just by chance, and while I wasn’t overwhelmed, it was an enjoyable experience. The commentary was recorded and was in Dutch, English, and French. I brought my young baby on here with no problems. I would recommend it but I’m sure...More

We booked this tour to see the canals and buildings of Amsterdam in the evening from the water. We did all of these things in a comfortable, stable and well appointed canal boat. (Had a loo if you needed one!) We were welcomed on board...More

Great value boat tour around Amsterdam, Captain & Guide gave not only facts about the city and it's waterways, but was very amusing in doing so, cracking little jokes! Tour given in English language as common denominator of passengers aboard. Toured in July when city...More

The boat trip itself was absolutely fine. There was narration over loudspeakers in Dutch, German, and English, with the captain inserting a few of his own points, and the route was satisfactory. While this was not the fault of the company, there was a large...More

There is a hard truth: everyone that visits Amsterdam has to do the boat tour on the canals. We entered the boat at Rokin, after buying a ticket there (it was an impulsive act). You get some explanation about the sights (Dutch, English, German). Quite...More

We were sitting on a bench at the statue of Queen Wilhemina on a horse, when I noticed a sign in English for a one hour canal cruise for 11 euros per adult, which seemed like a very good price. We went to the booth...More

historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention

They for sure have a booth at the place where you board the boat. Boats leave frequently so unless you would be very tight on timing or a big group, getting a ticket should not be too difficult.
