A place to go early in the morning, all day long, in the evening ... To sum up, the best place in Amsterdam.

Herengracht is one of the beautiful section of canals in Amsterdam with nice houses on both sides of the canal. The area is quiet but picturesque and you will definitely enjoy passing by this section while having your canal boat ride around.

Our hotel was between the Herengracht and Singel Canals so we spent a lot of time in this neighborhood and loved every second. There are so many charming shops and cafes and the architecture is particularly interesting.

Came upon this place when in need of a satisfying brunch. We sat out by the canal in the sun and enjoyed some wholesome food with great coffee and service to match.

Lovely place to take pictures. Gets quite busy, but a nice stop off to watch the boats and have a drink.

In Cape Town we have a street and area name Herengracht, it reminded me of the Dutch influence in The Cape since 1652. Buildings similar to that of the Cape.

Not my favourite of the big 3 but still a very nice canal. Take a boat trip to experience them all and then choose your own favourite.

Our hotel was on this canal. Like the area! I enjoyed the restaurants, shopping and short walk to Rembrandt square!
