There is one bridge in Amsterdam’s central canal belt that gives a view of no less than 15 bridges. This unusual sight is found at the bridge crossing of the Reguliersgracht with the Herengracht, on the side with odd numbers. Standing on this bridge with your back to the Thorbeckeplein, you will see six arched bridges in a row. To the left you will find six more over the Herengracht and on the right you will see the next two. The 15th is the bridge you are standing on. It is particularly worth coming here at night as the bridges are illuminated giving one of the most beautiful and romantic views in Amsterdam.

We saw this area and the many bridges on a canal cruise. As I looked for this attraction on TA’s pictures, I saw it all illuminated at night. Man! I thought it was cool during the day. It looks so much better at night!

We walked to this bridge which allows you sight of a lots of other bridges. We went during the daytime and it was okay, just a lot of bridges that you could see a small piece of.

If you're in the area it's worth a visit on foot but the best way to see this beautiful stretch of canal is by water at night

The bridges of Amsterdam are indeed lovely, especially when lit at night, and here is a group close together, perfect for the boat tours.

We hired a boat for 3 hours and the trip went through here. It’s one part of the suggested trip (boats4rent). Would recommend them too.

We managed to see some of the bridges during the canal cruise, but when came back later we were disappointed - it's not possible to see all the bridges when you're not in a boat.

This is a cool place to see the reflection of the bridges and their lights at night. To get a good photo make sure to get as close to ground level as possible.

Best when seen from water level. If you look at my photo, you get an idea of how cool the view is.. and you can see I caught my wife, trying to get the same pic.. as a reflection.

I suppose you have to sit in a boat to fully enjoy the view, from the bridge on the Thorbeckeplein side there is no good view. Still, rather enchanting spot.

I saw it both from the boat lower down as well from top of one of the bridges. View from the boat is of course better.
