The Anne Frank House is a museum with a story. As a visitor, you experience this story through quotes, photos, videos, and original items. The atmosphere in the museum is authentic and subdued. The Anne Frank House can only be visited with an online ticket for a specific date and time. 80% of tickets for any date are released exactly two months in advance. The remaining 20% are released on our website on the day. The demand often exceeds the number of available tickets. We advise you to buy your online tickets well ahead of time. Tickets for holidays and weekends sell out quickly.

We booked a time slot, you need to due to lines. It was an experience just to be in the building and rooms where these unfortunate people where in hiding

We queued here from 7am in the morning so we can get inside and it was about 1.5 hours of wait. You’ll have to lock your bag and cameras into the locker as they do not allow you to bring them in. After waiting for...More

This is a sacred site in one sense but it has been turned into a money spinner. There is little time to reflect on the experience because crowds of people are pushed through in batches like cattle. Anne would not be happy with the way...More

This place is amazing & it is hard to believe that the family were able to stay hidden for so long. This really isn't great for anyone who can't do stairs as there is a number of them & some are very steep. You must...More

I have always wanted to visit this despite knowing all the background information. Was interesting to see the actual house to get a deeper perspective. A very sobering reminder of how hate against others can escalate.

We have been here before, but the museum has been updated and renewed, so if you haven't been lately, get tickets and go again. An important reminder of the horrors of WWII throughout Europe.

A definite must-see when visiting Amsterdam, but more than a “thing to do” it is a visit to truly reflect on, and understand the horror of the holocaust and what those families went through. Practically the museum is well run and staffed by very efficient,...More

Having read her diary when I was in high school - long ago - I was vaguely familiar with the Anne Frank story. I wish I would have read it again before visiting; the experience would have been much more powerful.

Booked the night before, little could prepare one for such a powerful trip.... of a talented life lost, of a family that endured, of ordinary people that sort to help and of the Nazi's relentless pursuit of the Jewish community.... 20% of tickets go on...More

yes if you can get the tickets before hand. The visit takes 1/2 an hour tops, but if not you could spend the 4 hours in line. its a ten min walk to dam square from Anne Frank. The palace is worth a visit.
